“His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I
harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered
seed?
27 Well then, you
should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I
returned I would have received it back with interest.
If a week was worth a $100, then how much of this is spent on
God?
There are 10,080 minutes in a week. If we spend 5 minutes a
day in study or talking to God. Followed by a 60 minute Church
service on Sunday. It works out to 90 minutes a week.
90/10,080=0.0089 or 0.89%
If a week is $100, then 100 x 0.89% = 89 cents. We would not even
spend one dollar out of the one hundred that is our week.
Are we as guilty as the lazy servant? I say YES! That
we have all buried our time and our Talent!
We have to find ways of spending time with God. Simply as
reading the Word at lunch break, or just time in prayer. Or as
we head to out to our destination. I challenge all who read
this to spend more of your time to be with God. It will help
you cope better, and glorify God.
